Refund Policy
Last updated · May 27, 2026This policy clarifies the refund terms applicable to purchases made on PSYCHONAUTS 808. It applies in addition to our Terms of Sale.
1. General principle
All beats, drumkits and licenses sold on PSYCHONAUTS 808 are downloadable digital goods. In accordance with article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of digital content not provided on a physical medium, as soon as :
- The execution of the contract has begun after the Client's express agreement (payment validation) ;
- The Client has expressly waived their right of withdrawal by validating the order ;
- The digital file has been made available (download link sent by email).
By validating their order, the Client expressly acknowledges accepting these conditions and waives their right of withdrawal.
2. No refund after download
Given the nature of digital goods (infinitely duplicable without loss) and instant delivery, no refund may be claimed after the Client has downloaded one or more files from an order.
Simply clicking the download link contained in the delivery email is considered execution of the contract, terminating any right to refund — regardless of how long the file is actually listened to or used.
3. Exceptional refund cases
PSYCHONAUTS 808 will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis in the following situations :
- Technically defective file : if the audio file delivered is corrupted, unreadable or does not match the version announced on the product page, the Client must report the problem within 7 days after purchase to contact@psychonauts808.com. After verification, PSYCHONAUTS 808 will provide a corrected file or fully refund the order at the Client's choice.
- Involuntary double purchase : if the Client accidentally buys the same beat twice with the same license, on report within 14 days, the second purchase will be refunded.
- Wrong license charged : if the Client was charged for a higher license tier than actually purchased, the difference is refunded.
- Uncleared sample discovered after purchase : see the Licenses page, section 5. Full refund.
4. How to request a refund
Any refund request must be sent by email to contact@psychonauts808.com with :
- The order number ;
- The email address used at purchase ;
- The detailed reason for the request ;
- Any relevant supporting documents (screenshot, error logs, etc.).
PSYCHONAUTS 808 undertakes to respond within 5 working days. In case of refund approval, the amount is credited back to the original payment method within 14 days, any bank fees being borne by the refunded party.
5. Abusive refusal
Manifestly abusive requests (e.g. : refund claimed after multiple downloads, after proven public use of the beat, or repeated across many orders) will be refused. PSYCHONAUTS 808 also reserves the right to close the Client's access to the platform in case of repeated abuse.
6. Disputes
In case of disagreement on the application of this policy, the Client may attempt an amicable resolution by contacting us directly at contact@psychonauts808.com. Failing agreement, the Client may use a consumer mediation service free of charge in accordance with article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code. Failing that, French courts have jurisdiction.
